The Competence Self-Assessment (CSA) developed by the CDBC is based on The Integrated Competencies for Dietetic Education and Practice (ICDEP) and reflects the requirements for current dietetic practice. The competencies have a regulatory, public protection focus and the performance indicators are measurable statements of safe, competent practice. The CSA enables applicants to self-assess their combined qualifications (education, internship and experience) against a set of clear, specific and measurable regulatory competencies and related performance indicators in a process that is transparent and objective.
